Wonderful fountain and excellent Symphony Water Show. Although it lasts only for the duration of two songs, it is worth visiting. No wonder there was a sizable crowd to watch it. The place was literally over-crowded. It was a great experience watching the beautiful show and observing the thousands straining to get the best view through their phones or cameras.

Symphony Lake Water Show Visiting the Symphony Lake Water Show in KLCC Park, Kuala Lumpur, was an unforgettable yet relaxing experience. Here’s a detailed review suitable for posting on Google Maps: 🎆 What to expect This free nightly spectacle features two musical fountains dancing in choreography with light and music, set in a 10,000 sq ft man-made lake right outside Suria KLCC and backed by the iconic Petronas Twin Towers. There are over 150 unique programmed animations in the fountain show. 🕒 Showtimes & practical info Light-only shows: ~7:30 pm, 8:30 pm, 9:30 pm daily. Full music + light fountain shows: ~8:00 pm, 9:00 pm, 10:00 pm. Admission is free. Arrive 15-20 minutes early to secure a good viewing spot, especially on weekends. 📸 Best viewing & atmosphere Seating is available on the steps/esplanade facing the lake; these offer excellent photo opportunities. The backdrop of the Twin Towers shining at dusk adds a magical touch. It’s a great place to unwind after a busy day’s sightseeing. Some reviews note the show is shorter than expected (~10–15 minutes) and has some pauses between sets. 👍 What I loved It’s a free attraction with high visual value — rare for such a city centre setting. The setting is accessible, clean, safe and family-friendly. Compliments a visit to Suria KLCC, the Twin Towers and the park well. Perfect as an evening treat: strolling the park, then enjoying the show. 👀 Things to keep in mind It can get crowded — view may be partially blocked if you arrive late. Because it’s outdoors, weather (rain/wind) may affect viewing comfort. The show is relatively short and simple compared to larger choreographed fountain shows internationally — if you expect something grander you might feel it’s “nice but not spectacular”. Some showtimes may be adjusted around nearby mosque prayer times. 🎯 My overall verdict If you’re in Kuala Lumpur, make time in the evening for this. It’s an excellent free addition to your itinerary, especially for families, couples or anyone wanting a peaceful yet visually engaging experience. I’d give it 4.5 out of 5 stars — ideal for winding down your day and grabbing photo-worthy views.

Wow, the lake water show near the twin towers is something truly magical and spectacular. A must visit for anyone visiting Kuala Lumpur. I have never seen anything like this in my life, coming from a very lame country. Initially, we waited at the wrong side of the twin towers and didn't get to see this masterpiece. However, we decided to wait the additional 30 mins after going to the right sidez since we didn't want to miss this spectacular view. The water show is truly awe inspiring and mystical. The lighting and sound affects are truly top notch, and help provide a really immersive experience. I'd highly recommend everyone to visit, plus, it's completely free.

I can’t even put into words how stunning and magical this water show is. It’s a true masterpiece of design and engineering. I’ve been there many times, and the only thing that changes is the music—the beauty always stays the same. The show runs from 8:00 to 8:10 pm, about ten minutes in total, with each song getting around five minutes. If you’re ever in KL, this is definitely something you shouldn’t miss—and the best part is, it’s completely free.

Beautiful fountain right in front of the towers. I imagine the light / music show would have been amazing however the night we went it was obviously cancelled for some reason. Unfortunately no communication about this so we - much like a lot of others - did sit for nearly 2 hours until finally giving up. The lights from the towers were pretty but the water fountain barely changed. Shame that there is no communication if it is cancelled.
